Did you know that...
Playing bingo helps local nonprofits?
Last year, the 13 local nonprofits that host sessions at Gold Mine Bingo netted a combined $425,000 to help fund their missions, which range from buying band instruments to helping veterans to saving homeless pets!
Why Gold Mine Bingo is a great way to have fun and keep your money local:
(Check the hall’s website at www.gjbingo.com for more information and upcoming events.)
• Lots of parking and easy to get to (on 28-¼ Rd. near Eastgate shopping center, just north of North Avenue.)
• Open seven days a week; morning, afternoon and evening sessions.
• Great bang for your buck. You can play for as little as $10; payouts are up to $2,000 each session; and progressive jackpots can go as high as $15,000.
• Non-smoking facility with a full-service snack bar offering tasty, affordable food and non-alcoholic beverages.
• You’re treated like family. If you’re new to bingo, the nonprofit volunteers and many of the players will help you figure it out. And there’s a family room so kids can come along.
Net proceeds from Roice-Hurst’s two weekly bingo sessions (10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Fridays) have been funding 10% to 15% of our annual operating budget.

Our business and corporate sponsors receive many unique benefits and wonderful public awareness opportunities while helping the community and the animals we serve at Roice-Hurst Humane Society.
Your sponsorship allows us to save more lives and fulfill our mission of protecting and enhancing the lives of our companion animals until we can place them in loving adoptive homes.
Host an Event
Besides those put on by the Roice-Hurst Humane Society, there are lots of other events hosted by members of our community and local businesses who support our cause.
Perhaps you own a business and would like to donate a portion of your proceeds. Or, maybe you have a rockin' band and would like to sell tickets to raise money. There are so many ways to help, and we are so lucky to have the support of our community. If you're considering hosting a benefit or other event, please give us a call.
We can't do it without your help, so please...
